*COULD A MODERATOR OR ADMINISTRATOR PLEASE STICKY THIS THREAD FOR FUTURE
REFERENCE!?*

For all of the people that can still connect to the internet, but are
getting the following error when they hover over their tray network
icon:

"Connection status: unknown

Server execution failed"

There is a solution! Please note that this is only a work-around and
not an actual update or patch.

To fix this error, open the command prompt by clicking Start and
searching "cmd". Once cmd.exe shows up, click on it and type:

NET LOCALGROUP ADMINISTRATORS LOCALSERVICE /ADD
then press Enter.

_Note:_ This error can also be accompanied by little quirks in Windows,
issues playing media files and firewall and anti-virus detection issues
are common place.
