I have 8800gt with 512 mb of ram.Vista added 768 mb to it. WHY??? From where?I think from HDD.My ram is 2 gb and its all there.How do I fix this?

What did you do to determine how much video RAM Vista is seeing?

ASUS A832nSLI-Deluxe, AMD 64X2 4400 OC 2.4GHz, 3GB OCZ,
Running: Windows 7, Vista 32-bit, Ubuntu 8.10, Ubuntu 8.04 LTS

Go to:personalization;display settings;advanced;monitor;total available graphics memory:1279 mb.Games are showing 1.22gb of vga memory also.
