| Problem: I have internet connection, holds connection and works fine, but every few minutes sometimes shorter sometimes longer but thats about average. Its like it loses connection and gets it right back not even 2 or 3 seconds after. Its really annoying, i already turned off autotuning and it didnt seem to work thanks for the help.(Also doesnt do it on XP laptop)
I have Windows Vista
I have a gateway with a Marvel top dog PCI express 802.11n express wireless (EC85).
I have a Linksys Wireless G Router Product ID WRT54G V2.2

| I have turned off autotuning. (didnt work)
turned off ipv6 (didnt work)
Updated NIC drivers didnt work
changed registry DhcpConnDisableBcastFlagToggle
Still has lag spikes |

| | Ok i have searched on about every web site and search engine i can find and seems like alot of people are having this problem with the wireless G routers certain makes.. But noone seems to have the answer of way you get the 60 Sec burst of lag. Someone pointed to the WLAN autoconfig.. Any help admin? |
