| I would like to know if anyone has experience in creating an internet only terminal in Vista/XP, if so your help would be greatly appreciated. I would like to have a user account setup that would only Allow Internet Explorer to run and deny any other access to the system/start menu/network services so that the machine basically acts like a dumb terminal. The machine is in a Server 2003 Domain Environment. If possible I would like to do this at the domain level but want to test at local level first. Operating System(s) in question are Vista Business and XP Professional.
Let me know if I need to explain to help you get a better understanding on what i am trying to accomplish. |

| Don't do server-side Windows support; so, can't provide you any details.
However, the following link should get you started with exploring Group Policy operations in Vista: (of course, you'll need a server-side account and appropriate permissions to do these things)
