I have a Farallon Streamline Starlet ethernet hub model PN520/16-1. The hub has an iMac, a Westell 6100 Verizon DSL modem and a Sony Vaio laptop with Vista connected. The iMac has no trouble connecting to the internet through the hub but Vista will not find the modem. When the modem is connected directly to the Sony Vista has no trouble. Is there a driver to make Vista compatible?

If the problem is that Vista can't see the hub, hubs don't have drivers, they're just passive devices. How is the Vista machine getting an IP address -- since a hub can't assign IP addressed, I'm curious.
