| | I am new to this forum. I am getting desperate now...I am trying to run a slingmedia set up software. I have loaded it but every time I try to run it I get this message: Error 1324: The path My Pictures contains an invalid character. I contacted slingmedia and they said it was a computer issue. I contacted Dell and they referred me to a Sling forum. No one knew there either. I loaded it onto my desktop in its own folder thinking maybe that would work....to no avail.... i don't know where to turn  Gem |

| Does your username contain any special characters?
Also have you tried uninstalling, turning off UAC, then installing again?
Are you using the latest software?
