so heres is my issue.. I decided back in october that I ahd had enough of windows vista and it's sluggish ways.... so I promptly installed XP and everything was good in the world again- a fast computer. But for christmas I got a RAM upgrade (1GB-2GB) and saw that RC1 has been released to the public, I've decided that that should do away with my windows vista complaints and that I'm ready to move back... but when I inserted the OEM DVD, it is only a recovery DVD, and I can't re-install vista without already having vista on there... so my question is, if I downloaded a Vista Home Premium torrent, and then tried to use my CD key, will it work?

First warning -- we don't support piracy on this Forum. Period.

There are other places to go to ask questions about copies of SW you got through devious means.
