| ok, i have a twinhead laptop with vista buisness installed on it,now, when the laptop begins, after the memory test, it comes up with "f4 for restore" originally if you press f4 it will install a fresh copy of vista again, so i wanted to free up some space and remove the partition, so i deleted the partition but still on startup the f4 restore still comes up,but it wont work cause the partition is removed, how do i get rid of it? im presuming there is a command in the vista startup files, ive looked into it with no answer, closest i could find is im assuming i need to use the bcdedit.exe feature, the laptop still boots up in wondows fine,so i have no issues, just want to remove that message. |
