Why in gods name when you could get a 6000+ for dirt cheap right now and the Phenom is around the corner.

My qualifier for AMD products.

http://valid.x86-secret.com/show_oc?id=217398

An $89.00 CPU at a time when Intel had to play catch up w/the Core 2 Duo (Intels second attempt at a dual core, the first was pathetic) and it has "dominated" for a short time period compared to AMD's domination of not only the 64 bit world but the Athlon XP before and X2 after.  Leave the hype behind and wait for the Phenom.  In the long run has AMD let us down yet?  Mark my words Intel will be playing catch up again!  The Core 2 Duo is a flash in the pan, google the marks on thier Quad core they are sad to say the least if don't believe me i can post comparisons with my feeble 3800+ that i have ran on SiSoft Sandra.

Alright got my new rig

4200+ X2

ASUS M2N-X (bought it and then realised it had only two slots for dimms)

1024 Corsair DDR 2 675 MHz

Sapphire 2600XT GDDR 3 (Loving this card)

600W Xilence Gaming Edition Power Supply Unit

But it has caused me tons of problems since start. First i had to change the jumpers around on my IDE hardware. Then Vista wouldn't install/boot due to old BIOS on the board. It took me a day to find out what was causing that problem.

Asus M2N-X                                   ASRock P4G
